New Trailer for Animated “Star Trek: Unity”

New Trailer for Animated “Star Trek: Unity”

November 18, 2008 By Michael Hickerson 2 Comments

A new trailer for the fan-production “Star Trek: Unity” has been released.

You can get a glimpse of what to expect next from the Parsec Award Winning producers of “Star Trek: Disunity.”

“We took inspiration for the creation of this trailer from Abrams’ teaser trailer in large part because of the phrase at the end “Under Construction”,” said director Tanveer Naseer. ” At this point in our series storyline, our ship, the USS Unity, is in fact currently under construction and I thought this line was rather appropriate.  This line also carries the second meaning of referring to our animated series which is also under construction as we continue to design and build our characters and sets.”

Keep your eyes on Slice of SciFi for the release of this exciting new fan project.

Oh please! This thing *exudes* originality. And I quote from the episodes page: “The fantastic story of how the crew of Unity came together and their adnventures before Unity’s construction was complete.” I hope this fanfic turd is made by a bunch of junior high school kids trying out what they’ve learned in computer graphics classes in school (if so, I’m sorry for calling it a turd and congratulate you on your hard work), because if it is a bunch of jobless nerds living in their parent’s basement, well, it shows.

    Just a note for correction . . .

Star Trek: Unity’s premiere episode, “Disunity”, was nominated for a 2008 Parsec Award for Best Audio Drama.

And as always, we appreciate the continued support and interest shown by the Slice of Sci-Fi team and their audience.
