According to Ain’t It Cool News’ Hercules, a “reliable source” has leaked some potentially huge SPOILER information about the upcoming “Battlestar Galactica” webisodes.

In the webisodes, which are schedule to premiere on-line in mid-December and could air on SciFi on January 15 (that’s the day before the series returns), it will be revealed that two recurring male characters from the series are gay.
Gay characters are nothing new to “Galactica.” In last year’s “Razor” it was revealed that the Pegasus’ Admiral Cain was gay.Â
Fan website, Galactica Sitrep says it has confirmed details on who the two characters are. Again, if you’ve read these SPOILERS but don’t want to know who it is yet, please turn back now.
According to Sitrep, the two characters are Gaeta and Lt. Hoshi, the former Pegasus communications officer.
As of now, nothing has been confirmed by SciFi or anyone associated with “Galactica”
That’s about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Tossing in some gay characters at the end of this series is nothing more than an attempt to make some sort of political statement. Shame on you Galactica.
I’ve been waiting so frakkin’ long for SciFi to get to part 2 of the last season that I almost forgot what is going on. I almost don’t care anymore it’s been so long. All the hype about revealing everything and going out with a bang at the end. And now some stupid politically charged statement that’s supposed to make me remember the series is a ground-breaking *SciFi drama*. Please. Give it a rest.
Yeah. Political statement. Considering probably 1 in 10 people is gay – having ANYONE on TV play a gay character is just crazy. We should focus exclusively on the other 9 in 10, and their lives about NASCAR, divorce, kids, and clothing choices as they are just so much more interesting…
