The John Carter of Mars audio drama production team from Pocket Universe Productions stops by to talk about the status of the Kickstarter and the production updates.

Joe Ferrante, Michael Kogge and Lance Roger Axt talk about their passion for this project and the source material, getting the licensing from the Burroughs estate, figuring out the details for the story production, details about the linguistic designs for the Barsoomian (Martian) language & dialects (and the fonts for the backers), plus their plans for the stretch goals after their initial funding goal was reached much faster than anyone had anticipated.

There’s a new RPG in the works, a Barsoomian translation of the book, lots of limited edition artwork, and a custom Woola plush toy as part of the rewards tiers (who knew there were complicated logistics in creating a plush with ten legs?)

Sean Patrick Flanery is on board as the voice of John Carter, and their excitement about moving the project forward continues.
