Professor Will Brooker’s newest book, Never-Ending Watchmen, is a deep dive into the world of Watchmen, and all of the commentary, opinion, interpretation and analysis about it since it’s publication, in addition to the movie, the HBO limited series sequel, Doomsday Clock, and we can only speculate if more may come.
Will talks about how the idea for the book came about, the abundance of references and opinions about Watchmen, including the Annotated edition and beyond. He talks about the impact the movie had (and the versions of the movie) had on the way fans first came to the story and the discussions about how well it represented the graphic novel source material.
So much Watchmen to analyze, so many possible future variations, so little time.
