THE PASSENGER co-director Fernando González Gómez stops by to talk about the challenges and the fun they had making a road trip horror film where the claustrophobic setting is also moving through desolate roads in sparsely populated wide open areas.

Fernando also talks about the practical effects and creature designs, where they may want to take this crazy story farther, and so much more.

Yes, Nessa the Van is the most underrated character in the movie, and I did not have “this movie was inspired by a ride share road trip to SITGES” on my horror movie Bingo card.

And maybe someday Summer will do an episode of Slice of SciFi entirely in Spanish, ya never know!

Dark Star Pictures and Bloody Disgusting will release the Spanish horror film THE PASSENGER in Theaters June 3, 2022 and On Demand and DVD June 28, 2022.
