In this episode, we have interviews with cast & writers from one of the new Welcome To The Blumhouse features, “Madres”:

Writers Marcella Ochoa & Mario Miscione talk about finding the right migrant farm workers story to tell, developing this story from reports about the actual events from 1970s California, using genre movies to take a look at social issues, and more.

Actor Ariana Guerra talks about researching being pregnant and a new mom, being more interested now in making more horror stories, the possibility of being a horror movie villain, and more.

Actor Evelyn Gonzalez talks about being a little anxious (terrified) of physically taking the same emotional journey her character was on, doing research on the lives of migrant farm workers and being a pregnant woman in labor, looking forward to doing more psychological horror, and more.

“Madres” is available on Amazon Prime October 8th
