This week, writer/director Peter “Drago” Tiemann stops by to talk about The Stairs, making it’s debut across theaters courtesy Fathom Events (including at the International Horror & Scifi Film Festival).
Peter talks about his fascination with creepy abandoned or oddly placed structures, and cryptid stories, and how that led to writing The Stairs, about the creation of the creature costumes and how their behavior was designed, and more.
He also talks about his history with performing stunts and becoming a stunt coordinator (which leads into his doing the stunts in The Stairs).
Stop by the IHSFF on August 20-21 to see the film and Peter’s Q&A panel!
