Twin brother directors Elan and Rajeev Dassani stop by to talk about how they adapted the Audible Original play “Evil Eye” into a feature for Season 1 of the “Welcome to the Blumhouse” series on Amazon Prime.

We discuss how they shared the directing duties, choices for production design and color usage, applying the study of the psychology of domestic abuse to build the conflict and tension in the storytelling, and more.

For other works of theirs, the fantasy series Jinn is available on Netflix, and
scifi-thriller short film Seam is available from their website and on Dust

And don’t miss Summer’s review: “Evil Eye” is a beautiful suspense tale about haunted romance
