Writer/director Jennifer Reeder stops by to talk about her new indie teen coming of age thriller “Knives and Skin”. The movie dances on the edge of horror but isn’t a typical horror by most measures.

Jennifer talks about exploring how each character’s personal traumas inform how they react to the pain of dealing with Carolyn’s disappearance, and interpret how the so-called adults in their lives handle what’s happening as well. The story might not be to everyone’s taste, but there’s a next level production quality to the film.

“Knives and Skin” releases in theaters, on demand and digital December 6th.
