Screenwriter and author Chris Vander Kaay drops by to chat about their new book, Indie Science Fiction Cinema Today: Conversations with 21st Century Filmmakers, which is the science fiction companion volume to their horror examination, The Anatomy of Fear: Conversations with Cult Horror and Science-Fiction Film Creators.

Chris and Kathleen talked to over 50 filmmakers working in the indie scifi arena, and have broken down their film examinations into 21 subgenres, picking their favorites in each that have been released since 2000.

The book is available now from McFarland Books, and on Amazon: Indie Science Fiction Cinema Today: Conversations with 21st Century Filmmakers

And their horror documentary Fear Man, is also available for free on Amazon Prime.
