This week, we talk more horror by featuring part one of our Deathscribe interviews. Summer chats with several of the teams of finalists for this year’s competition: director Sara Sevigny and writer Travis Williams (defending champions); writers Dan Finnen and Sara Gise; director Kaiser Ahmed and writer Jim McDoniel.

We talk about how these writers & directors came to Deathscribe, what inspired their radio plays, what they like about horror and more.

Deathscribe X: 10th Anniversary Festival of Horror Radio Plays, the 10-minute radio play competition hosted by WildClaw Theatre Group. This year’s event will be Monday, December 4th, at Lincoln Hall in Chicago.

Do you like your horror in the form of radio plays or stage plays? Let us know! Call 602-635-6976 and leave a message, send Summer an email, or have your say in the comments below!
