This week, Noah and Trouble also give a review of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which Trouble has been waiting all year for, and Noah did enjoy, and despite his prior expectations, this film is his favorite of the series so far.
Next, Tim Callender (The Babylon Podcast) and Shaun Farrell (Adventures in Scifi Publishing) join Summer to discuss this latest season of Doctor Who, the differences between this Doctor and previous Doctors, the season-long reveal of Missy’s true character, and the effects that traveling through space and time have on relationships in general.
Both Shaun and Tim are eagerly looking forward to the Christmas Special, and since they have Who homework, we’ll hear from them again after that special airs.

Great show on the summary of last season’s Dr Who! Glad you are “sort of” back.
There was a comment about the Doctor assuming the body image of a previous person the Doctor had met, and whether this one might be foretelling some future storyline. Back during the Tom Baker era and the Key to Time arc, Romana intentionally regenerated into the form of Princess Astra, who literally was the last part of the Key to Time, and thus, never actually lived. So precedent has been set that a Time Lord can chose, perhaps only if it was controlled, to regenerate into someone he or she knew about.
And yes, the Dr Who Atkinson spoof is hilarious!
After giving this several listens I have to admit that this episode is ranked up there as one of the best since Mike, Evo and I first introduced Slice of SciFi back in 2005.
We are back and back with shows that have recaptured what we originally dreamed and hoped Slice of SciFi would and could always be. Hats off to Summer and Jeffrey for reviving the dream and helping to make it reality.
