The Green Hornet’s mean, lean cruisin’ machine affectionately known as “Black Beauty” is up for bid in an auction at Boston’s RR Auctions.
The car was originally designed by auto makeover guru Dennis McCarthy and was featured in the 2011 film The Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz and Jay Chou.
McCarthy, famous for his auto designs in films like Batman Begins, the Fast and Furious series of movies and Man of Steel went all out in tripping the 1965 Chrysler Imperial with hood-mounted Browning .30 caliber machine guns, a 413-cubic-inch V8 engine, and to keep with her name, an exterior of exquisite deep metallic black.
Even though the film was hated by critics and many fans of the famous comic book hero, even they couldn’t find fault with Black Beauty.
If you want her bidding will continue until Thursday, June 26, 2014 but she won’t go cheap.
