Klingons for Congress?

On Thursday in Indian Trail, North Carolina, town council member David Waddell submitted his letter of resignation — written in Klingon.

While he claims he wrote the letter in Klingon as an inside joke, other local politicians don’t seem to share his sense of humor, calling it “unprofessional”.

Waddell is resigning before his term is over to focus on a write-in campaign against NC Senator Kay Hagan in the upcoming 2014 elections.
