With the upcoming Superman vs Batman movie borrowing part of the story line of the iconic The Dark Knight Returns, director Zach Snyder has gone to the source to get some help on the script.
According to The Independent, Snyder met with writer and artist Frank Miller about the upcoming project. Miller’s epic battle between the two DC icons in Dark Knight Returns is serving as an inspiration for the upcoming big-screen showdown .
Snyder used one of the iconic lines from the graphic novel to introduce the film at the recent San Diego Comic Con.
“I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come. In your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you,” goes the line.
We don’t know the details of the meeting, but it’s interesting to see how the film may develop.
