The CW made a splash yesterday at the Television Critics’ Association Meetings with news that The Flash is headed back to our screens.

So where does that leave the long-in-development Wonder Woman series Amazon?

For now, it appears the show is on hold.

CW president Mark Pedowitz says that the project isn’t quite where the network wants it to be and they have decided to wait and get it right rather than rush something to the screen.

Of course, having Arrow with the development of Black Canary this season and The Flash possibly spinning-off in 2014 means there will be a lot of DC series on the network in the next several years.

Looks like we will just have to wait a bit longer for that Wonder Woman return .
