That’s amazing since after season 5 completed HBO announced this next 6th would likely be the final for True Blood. I’m glad they have changed their minds and are giving this show more time to work its characters out.

To be honest, I was finding the current season kind of dull. My wife has always been more of a fan than me (as she has read all the books), and I was starting to give up on it completely. The most recent episode, however, was really pretty good. More of this, and I’ll be much happier.

Really? Another season? I thought the show was fun and good but it was toward the end of Season 4 when the vampires showed up in a van with a grenade launcher then Sookie decided she loved both Bill AND Eric that I felt the wheels were coming off the wagon. Then Season 5 was just serious disappointing. With the exception of some scenes on Sunday, this Season is just a terrible. “…it was a fairy vampire trying to break through a portal from another dimension.” Did Sookie just say that with a straight face?

I’m not even sure if they writers have a general direction they know where to go. I have read the entire series and was completely fine that the show & the book were different.
