Will John Williams Score New “Star Wars” Movie?

May 1, 2013 By Michael Hickerson 2 Comments

Director J.J. Abrams says it’s likely that John Williams will provide the musical score for the upcoming seventh Star Wars movie.

“Again, for Star Wars, it’s very early days, but I believe that, going forward, John Williams will be doing that film because he was there long before I was,” Abrams said.

So, are you excited that Williams is likely back to provide the music for a galaxy far, far away?

Check out the music from Star Wars: The Clone Wars — Kevin Kiner has been the composer for the show.

It does a pretty good job and to me, it still has the feel of Star Wars, even though it’s not Williams.
