Check out this trailer for the Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds supernatural comedy R.I.P.D. The film is something of a buddy cop comedy about a pair of cops from the otherworldly Rest In Peace Department who protect the living from souls that refuse to pass over.
R.I.P.D. comes out July 19 from Universal.

It’s Men in Black for the afterlife.
That’s what I thought too. The premise is very formula.
That said it still looks like it will be a fun movie, just not high cinema.
Hey, it has Jeff Bridges… That’s good enough for me!
From the trailer I think Bridges will fill that role really well too.
