“Trek” Fans Crash IMAX Web Site

Tickets for the IMAX version of Star Trek Into Darkness have gone on sale and eager fans are buying them up at an incredible rate.

How incredible, you ask?

The traffic and purchase of tickets caused the IMAX web site to crash.

Paramount and IMAX acknowledge via Twitter that there are technical issues with the site and that tickets aren’t for sale currently.

Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.
