Rumors are emerging from Disney that a popular Star Wars universe character could get his own starring vehicle — and it may not be the one you’re thinking of.
Rumors has it that Disney and LucasFilm are interested in a solo movie focusing on Yoda. Ain’t It Cool News reports that the film would be separate from the J.J. Abrams’ directed seventh installment.
It is unclear if the stand-alone Yoda movie will center on the character before or after the events of George Lucas’s two previous Star Wars trilogies.
Zack Snyder was rumored to be working on a Star Wars film based on Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai, but quickly moved to shut down the rumor.
