Which “Stargate” Actress is Joining “S.H.I.E.L.D.”?

She’s journeyed across the universe via Stargate and helped people in the E.R.

For her next role, Ming-Na will be part of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Joss Whedon’s upcoming pilot for ABC.

Ming-Na will play Agent Melinda May, an top-notch pilot, weapons expert and soldier who is described as being soulful but damaged by her time spent in combat.

She joins Clark Gregg  in the pilot.  He’s reprising his role as Agent Coulson from the Marvel movies.

Na’s credits also include Eureka, Stargate Universeand Two and a Half Men.
