Green Lantern is probably moving back to the US due to a weakening US dollar against the Aussie dollar… as if the Aussie dollar was weakening then the movie would be cheaper for the studio to make.

Just being picky about your reporting on the Green Lantern moving to the US for filming due to the weak Australian Dollar. It’s actually the other way around.

The US Dollar has weakened against the Australian Dollar so it’s not longer cheaper to film in Australia. So it looks like they are moving back to the US as the savings wont be that great.

1 AUD used to be 0.72 USD
now since our economy seems to be one of the few recovering we are are
    1 AUD = 0.93 USD

There is talk our dollar will go over the USD in the coming months.

    I’m loving SGU. Great interview!

I think “bazinga” is the word you’re looking for when Sheldon pulls a pranks. I only know that because I’ve watch the entire second season and third season so far of BBT in the past few weeks.

Paranormal Activity is one of my favorite movies in a long time. How could you guys not like it?

As a long-time Stargate franchise fan (since about s4 of SG-1), I have to say that I’ve enjoyed both previous series immensely and like SGU so far. The first season of any show has its ups and downs, but on the whole it seems to be going well.

And yes, there is a certain portion of the fanbase that often get shrill at the rumor of any change whatsoever, but there is a much greater majority that can remain calm and absorb the episodes as they come. We’re just quieter about it.

I’m also loving David Blue. He’s like David Hewlett 2.0. 🙂

Thanks for the great interview. Got a little more insight from David being a SG fan already. The thing I was most stoked to hear about was his bit on Aliens having evolved very differently than the locals to paraphrase. The more different the better.
