As Beauty and the Beast gears up for its October 11th debut, the CW has released a couple of new promo pictures of the series stars.

They feature Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan, who play the title characters.
As you can see, this new take doesn’t feature Ryan in traditional beast make-up but instead with a scar across his face. According to producers, the new Beast is more an internal than an external thing.
We’ll discuss Beauty and the Beast and all the other new fall shows on next Monday’s installment of Slice!

What? What?! WHAT?! No! No no no, f***** NO! That is not how Vincent is supposed to look! What nunf****y is this?
As much as it pains me to say it, I think… Arkle is right… There, I said it…
But seriously, this whole show has “Train Wreck” written all over it. So of course, I’ll be watching 🙂
This reminds me of that film where that guy gets all those cool tattoos and he thinks he’s a beast. Seriously, are you telling me that only Disney can get this story right, because that’s how it seems right now.
Face it…it’s a another show geared towards the teen market with beautiful people that look like they belong on the cover of Vogue . The airways are littered with them right now. At least Teen Wolf (another show set up the same way) got it right. They did a take on beauty and the beast with Lydia/Jackson and at least turned Jackson into a real monster(Kanima) with scaley skin and a tail…too bad the second season didn’t live up to the first. I’m longing for different fare right now…BSG…Stargate Universe…something with some grit.Guess there’s always Netflix.
