SyFy Developing New Series Based on King, Comics

April 24, 2012 By News Droid 1 Comment

SyFy is developing two new projects.

One will be either a miniseries or tv series based on Stephen King’s epic fantasy Eyes of the Dragon.  Set in the kingdom of Delain, the book tells the story of a young prince who is falsely accused of, and imprisoned for, the murder of his father.  The series features a variety of fantasy elements all given the King touch.  The novel has a connection to King’s Dark Tower series as well.

The other project will be developing the comic book series Grey Legion into a series called Seeing Things. Written by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, Grey Legion  is about a cop who is killed and is forced by a government agency to come back from the dead to carry out missions for them. His main goal, however, is to find out who killed him and reclaim the love of his life. In order to do this, he recruits a man with the power of social awkwardness, which apparently helps him to see ghosts, and is only just realising that the things he’s seeing might not be hallucination.

According to EW, Rosenberg will also serve as a producer on the show.
