“Blood and Chrome” Will Be Movie, Web Series

March 22, 2012 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

Wondering what happened to SyFy’s Battlestar spin-off, Blood and Chrome?

The network has announced that the spin-off will be a series–only it will be on-line.  The series will begin with a movie and then move to on-line for its run.

Mark Stern, SyFy’s President, Syfy Original Content and Co-Head, Universal Cable Productions, made the announcement yesterday.

“Though the vision for Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome has evolved over the course of the past year, our enthusiasm for this ambitious project has not waned. We are actively pursuing it as was originally intended: a groundbreaking digital series that will launch to audiences beyond the scope of a television screen. The 90-minute pilot movie will air on Syfy in its entirety at a future date,” Stern said in a press release.

Honestly I forgot all about it, and I’m not sure how much I still care (considering my interest wasn’t that high for another spin-off to begin with).
