Battlefield 3 continues to set sales records. EA revealed this week that the popular game has sold 10 million units since it was released in October.
Battlefield 3 has built most of its success on top of a popular multiplayer mode that is arguably the best in the first-person shooter genre. And there have been scattered reports that details on the next piece of downloadable content will be revealed next week. Studio DICE has not officially confirmed any details related to the next wave of DLC.
Battlefield 3 was one of a couple major hits for EA during the important holiday sales period. The publisher also revealed soccer title FIFA 12 also topped the 10-million sales mark.
Meanwhile, pro football simulation Madden NFL 12 has sold 5 million copies since its debut last August.
