Last week, Rick McCallum promised us the new upcoming Star Wars: Underworld would take a page from Empire and be a darker and grittier take on a galaxy far, far away.
According to the latest rumor circulating, the series may take a page from other popular genre shows and feature time travel.
According to Ain’t It Cool News, one early episode of the show will feature a plotline that could change the course of Star Wars history. According to a source, one of the first episodes will follow a group of bandits who somehow acquire the ability to travel in time … and promptly hatch a plan to
journey back to the past and erase the existence of Darth Vader.
Of course, this episode being produced assumes the series gets made any time soon.
We’re still waiting for technology to get to the point that George feels comfortable bringing the series to us.
Instead of killing vader at his origins, do us all a favor and kill of Jar Jar so we don’t have to keep apologizing to the sci fi community for him for the next few decades…
