Baldwin Kicked Off Plane For Playing “Words With Friends”

December 7, 2011 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

Addicted to Word with Friends?

If so, you may want to start a game with actor Alec Baldwin.  Seems that Baldwin really, really likes the game.  So much so that he was kicked off a plane earlier this week because of it.

On Tuesday, the actor took to Twitter to announce he’d gotten in trouble on an American Airlines flight while sitting at the gate at Los Angeles International Airport.

“Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. #nowonderamericaairisbankrupt,” he tweeted, before following up with “But, oddly, 30 Rock plays inflight on American. #theresalwaysunited.”

Former MTV COO Michael J. Wolf was also on the flight, and tweeted that the actor had actually been kicked off of the plane, indicating he may have been at fault.

“On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait,” Wolf wrote.

But, the airline didn’t seem to have hard feelings. American Airlines’ Twitter account wrote to Baldwin, saying, “@AlecBaldwin Mr. Baldwin, we are looking into this. Please DM us contact information,” and the actor later tweeted he’d been put on a 3 p.m. flight.

The 30 Rock star is just the latest Hollywood player to be kicked off a commercial flight, following country star John Rich, L Word actress Leisha Hailey, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong and director Kevin Smith.

Actually, he was kicked off the plane for being a total assbag. He was asked to turn off his electronic device during taxi, caused a huge scene locking himself in the bathroom & causing a 45 minute delay in the flight’s takeoff. What a douche.

Wasn’t he suppose to leave the Country when George Bush Jr was elected President? I remember him saying if he became President he’d leave the country. Somebody get me his address. He obviously needs help packing, it’s taken him years and he’s still not gone yet. Better yet, get me his cell phone number and I’ll leave a message on his phone like he did his 10 year old daughter. Why is this guy even still popular? He’s not even that good of an actor. Too bad there wasn’t an Air Marshall on board.
