The good news is when The Walking Dead returns on October 16, we’ll get a 90-minute episode.
The bad news–AMC has decided to split the season. So, we’ll get six episodes from October to November and then a break until February. The show returns on February 12 to finish its second season.
It should be interesting to see it the audience will follow the show.

Third nail in the coffin…the first was firing Frank Darabont, the second was cutting the budget, now this? If it gets a third season, it will be a bigger miracle than the dead being able to walk.

And the death of another series is set to begin. What a joke.

All this in the name of Mad Men. I like Mad Men, but to cut back on every other show for the sake of Mad Men? This demonstrates questionable judgement.
Joe Klemmer says
It’s not an issue of “questionable judgment” more than unmitigated greed. Mad Men is the cash cow so they will do anything to try and make it bigger. And, thus, get more profit.

Anyone ever wonder what would happen if Fox and SyFy had a baby network?
Sam Sloan says
Yes and I know what it would be: The S.M.U.R.F. Network.
