Production on the sequel to Wolverine, The Wolverine has been pushed back.
Deadline reports that 20th Century Fox has pushed back the start date on the film from this fall to early next year.
The project has had a rocky start. Director Darren Aronofsky was attached to the project but left for personal reasons. Fox brought in James Mangold to direct the film but not star Hugh Jackman’s fall schedule has pushed back filming.
It’s rumored the film could open for the holiday season of 2013 or the summer season of 2013.
Good! The first Wolverine was not all that great anyhow.
