Looking for another way to pass time on your iPhone or iPad? How about building and running your own theme park?
You’ll get that chance later this year when a new version of the popular simulation game Theme Park arrives on the Apple Store.
Inspired by the 1994 Bullfrog title of the same name, Theme Park is an entirely new title using a 3D engine and free-to-play elements.
Players will upgrade their park’s rides and staff using in-game currency, with aspects such as ride construction and park income taking place in real time.
Additional in-game currency can also be purchased with real money to access new attractions faster.
Parks will expand by buying new plots of land, which can be styled in a variety of ways including pirate, organic and futuristic themes, each offering their own for specific looks and ride-types.
As well as fine-tuning the specifics of each ride, they can be interacted with using touch controls, such as swinging pirate ships with swipes or prodding bouncy castles.
