The iconic video game character Mario is headed to the Nintendo 3DS.
Two new games featuring the plumber will debut for the hand held device, Nintendo says.
Super Mario 3DS will now be named Super Mario 3D Land and will be released in November, according to Eurogamer.
Meanwhile, Mario Kart 3DS is to be known as Mario Kart 7 and will launch in December.
Super Mario 3D Land will be Mario‘s first original 3D outing on a handhand, and is developed by the Super Mario Galaxy team.
Mario Kart 7 will introduce new elements such as gliding, underwater racing and customisable vehicles.
That news comes on the heels that Nintendo is reducing the price for the 3DS system worldwide on August 12.
