On today’s installment of Slice of SciFi, we’ll tell you a bit more about some of the changes coming to Batman when DC reboots its comic book line in September.
Now, we’ve got news about changes headed for the Man of Steel.
According to the LA Times, Superman will get a new look when the relaunch hit stores in September.
He’ll still have the iconic cape and tights, but he won’t be wearing the red speedos anymore, reports the paper.
The long-running comic series will restart at No. 1 in September, with Scottish writer Grant Morrison and artist Ralph “Rags” Morales at the helm.
In addition to the Superman franchise, DC Comics also plans to relaunch other titles in the DC Universe, which includes superheroes such as Batman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern. New characters, stories and, of course, costumes will be introduced across the board.
Ben Ragunton says
I personally think this is a bad idea. Everytime they try to revamp Supes they end up having to go back because that’s the only way the public will accept him.
