“Disney Universe” Coming to Platforms, PC

Gamers will soon be able to explore some of their favorite animated universes from Disney and Pixar films with Disney Universe.

The action adventure title allows up to four people to explore classic Disney and Pixar worlds, including Alice in Wonderland and Monsters Inc.

Players can customise their appearance with more than 40 Disney character costumes, including Stich from Lilo & Stich, Tron from Tron: Legacy and Alice from Alice in Wonderland.

Each costume will feature a specific tool that can be powered up as the game progresses. Similarly, each world will feature different appearances, gameplay styles and mission objectives.

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners can acquire more worlds, characters and items as downloadable content post-release.

“Disney Universe is a vast treasure chest of Disney properties with memorable characters, places and experiences that gamers, as well as Disney fans will enjoy,” said senior vice president Adam Sussman.

“The fast-paced, frenetic gameplay combined with wacky humor and hilarious situations make Disney Universe the perfect game to play with family and friends.”

Disney Universe will be developed by British studio Eurocom and available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii this autumn.
