“Angry Birds” seems to be every where these days.
And now it’s coming to Facebook.
Rovio Mobile has told Wired that it will add new features to the game when it launches on the social networking platform.
“There will be completely new aspects to it that just haven’t been experienced on any other platform,” said chief executive Mikael Hed.
It was added that the game would be more collaborative in nature, and that pigs “will have a more prominent role” in the game.
CEO Peter Vesterbacka has also revealed that its Bad Piggy Bank payment system, which allows Android users to pay for in-game content without a credit card, will be coming to Facebook.
Last year, the firm told DS that it was “looking into” a Facebook version that would not feature the “same gameplay and experience” as other editions.

Oh boy! Another game I can ignore, and block messages from friends telling me their latest high score!

(Nor do I have it on my iPhone. I refuse.)
Sihnon says
Aww, you are missing out! It is a very clever game and the sound effects are cute!

I agree, to think of all the hours of entertainment I got for just 99 cents. Compared to the cost of movie DVD/Bluray or the cost Sat/Cable TV per month.
But I wouldn’t play it on Facebook.

Love the gme… play it all the time. Lots of fun, but… I wouldn’t play it on FB. I stopped playing all game on FB. I just don’t have the time, but I can carve out 15 minutes on the toilet. 🙂
