If you love the game “Angry Birds” and you love Christmas, our next story will be music to your ears.
Game maker Rovio has renamed what began as a Halloween version of the game, and added a Christmas theme. The new version is called “Angry Birds Seasons.” It’s available for Android and Apple’s mobile gadgets.
Angry Birds Seasons costs 99 cents for the iPhone or iPod Touch, and $1.99 for an “HD” version for the iPad. Android owners get an ad-supported version for free. Folks who already purchased the Halloween versions will get Angry Birds Seasons as an update in the App Store.
Ok, is this “Slice of Sci-Fi” or “Slice of Giving Needless Promotion to Already Insanely Successful iPhone Apps that have Nothing to do with Sci-Fi”?

Lemme tell you how annoyed I was to discover how battery-intensive Bejeweled is on my 8Gb iPod Touch… it could well have rivaled some of Brian’s Reboot Rage! 🙂
