Twin actors Shawn and Aaron Ashmore are to appear in an upcoming episode of “Fringe”.
The twins will play brothers in an episode expected to air in November.
“We’re having fun with it, running around on set and fooling everybody,” Shawn told Chicago Now. “It’s been fun. It’s a huge experience and a good show.”
The star explained that he and his sibling often turn down opportunities to appear on screen together.
“It’s usually because the stuff that comes along is kind of hokey,” he said. “But I think the quality of ‘Fringe’ is really high and the episode is done well and our characters are intelligent. We’re going to have some fun.”
Shawn previously starred in the “X-Men” films, while Aaron is known for playing Jimmy Olsen on “Smallville”.
Fringe returns on September 23 to Fox.

This is pretty cool. I’ve enjoyed the Ashmores separately for several years, so it’ll be good to see them finally onscreen together.
I completely understand their wanting to pursue separate careers, but when they were both on the rise at the same time I got very confused as to whether they were the same person, twins, or brothers with a freaky family resemblance. Thank goodness for IMDB.
