It always tugs at your heart strings when you see that two hardcore “Doctor Who” fans have found love.
Matthew and Linda Peacock married over the weekend at a ceremony that included a replica of the TARDIS, a David Tennant look-a-like and a Dalek. I’m guessing they didn’t ask if anyone objected and risk having the Dalek exterminate everyone there.
“I’m a big fan of the Doctor, and we couldn’t miss the chance to have them as guests at our wedding,” said Matthew. “I used to run a student Doctor Who Society at Oxford University and have loved the television programs ever since. … It was a wonderful day with our family and friends—both from this planet and others.
“Not many people have extraterrestrials and time travelers as guests on their big day. And to be able to kiss your bride in the famous Doctor’s police box was a dream come true.”
After the wedding, the couple traveled to Prince Bishops Shopping Centre, where they were guests of honour at a Doctor Who fun day.
