Blockbuster is looking to get into the video game by mail rental game.
The company announced that it is adding a game rental service to the options available to consumers who rent movies through the mail. For an additional $8.99 a month, you can rent video games which can be sent back by mail or returned to your local brick and mortar store (assuming there’s still one near you.)
The company is looking to compete with services like Game Fly that rent games to consumers.
Another case of Blockbuster being too late to the party…
