Things coming at me on the screen . . . I hate things coming at me on the screen!!
. . . especially since I will be watching it at home, in 2-D, and those shots are all going to look pretty stupid.

I know a lot of people can’t stand these movies, but I never played the video game, and I think they’re freaking awesome. Milla makes for a good female action hero. So sue me.

Paul WS Anderson knows how to do visuals. I’ll excuse the lame 3D stuff flying at my face as something that is probably only in the trailer. Too bad Anderson doesn’t know how to do story or characters. Milla being hot isn’t enough to make me drop $10 to see this in a theater.
The first Resi Evil was derivative of better work but still fun, the second was OK (in parts) and the third was a POS. This looks like a visual ripoff of The Matrix and Blade and plot; what plot?
Finally, this movie may be a test case for 3D. Can 3D increase the audience for a franchise that has been successful but not super blockbuster successful or will it be shown to just be an expensive gimmick for the average action film?

Meh… It looks like a good rental.

This is definitely a case against 3D tho.

I loved the games…loved the FIRST movie..the second was so-so and the third SUCKED. This one seems to be like the last. A lot of great cgi..not much of a story..
I remember when resident evil was about HORROR..not cgi action.
