Warning: This story contains a SPOILER for the upcoming sixth season of “Supernatural.” If you don’t want to know, stop reading.
Wondering where season six will take Sam and Dean now that they’ve fought the battle of heaven vs hell?
EW’s Michael Ausiello says he has a potential clue. Ausiello reports that the show is currently in discussions with actor Mitch Pileggi to resume his role as the boys’ grandfather.
No word yet on how many episodes Pileggi would feature in nor how the grandfather might return.
We’ll keep our ears open for details.

So… Supernatural is doing a time travel season?
If Bobby turns out to be the Big Bad, Darlton better sue someone.
Kyle Nin says
Well, they’ve already done three time travel episodes (one in Season 4 and two in Season 5), so it’s possible that they could have more. But I doubt the entire season will be a time travel season.

I was mostly just cracking wise.
I think both of Supernatural’s time travel episodes were absolutely brilliant, and depending on the story, I’d *LOVE* to see Pileggi back for more.

“I think both of Supernatural’s time travel episodes were absolutely brilliant …”
Actually, there were three: “In the Beginning” (Season 4), “The End” (Season 5), and “The Song Remains the Same” (Season 5). Then there was also another time-related episode in Season 3: “Mystery Spot” (which used the Groundhog Day-like time loop premise).
