Mader Knows How “Lost” Ends

April 28, 2010 By Mike Hickerson Leave a Comment

rebecca-mader-as-charlotteActress Rebecca Mader says she knows how “Lost” ends. But she’s not telling.

Instead the actress who played Charlotte on the ABC series says that she’d like to celebrate the series finale by having a party in her home. That is, if everyone could follow her “no talking during the show” rule.

““I was thinking of having a party at my house, like a screening party and have all my friends over,” Mader tells the Wall Street Journal. “On paper that sounds like a really good idea, but I’m a really big geek. If someone talks, I will punch them in the head.”

She could only watch the finale with one friend, who can be trusted to be quietly rapt, she said. “Because if someone is saying, ‘What’s going on?’ I’ll be like, ‘Oh my God, get out of my house.’ I don’t have the patience.”

Mader says she prefers the episodes that have come since her character shuffled off this mortal coil. But she did say she had a lot of fun reprising the role in the side flash storyline this year.

“It was nice being able to see Charlotte off the island, in a dress, with make-up on, not covered in blood,” Mader said. “It was a nice way to come back. I had worn the same outfit for a year and a half. To come back in a sequin dress looking fabulous? It was nice to show Charlotte’s girly side.”
