Actor Corey Haim, who rose to fame in the 1980’s with a string of hit movies including ‘The Lost Boys,” has passed away at the age of 38.
The actor died of an apparent drug overdose after being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital early this morning, according to the Associated Press.
According to reports, Haim’s mother was with him when he passed away.
Haim starred in a number of high-profile movies of the 80s, including “Dream a Little Dream” and “License to Drive.” The actor struggled with addictions over the course of his life, many of which were documented in a reality series, “The Two Coreys,” which Haim co-starred with fellow actor Corey Feldman.

This is a shame… RIP.
Loved The Lost Boys, a classic, and License to Drive.

No mention of Watchers… a movie I loved as a kid but cannot find anywhere anymore.

What a damned shame!
Whatever it was that he was looking for, I hope he knew how much joy he brought to people with “The Lost Boys”.
It breaks my heart that his mother had to watch her son die.
RIP, finally, Corey.
