“V” Adds Three Cast Members

February 4, 2010 By Michael Hickerson 3 Comments

When “V” returns in late March on ABC, look for the cast to expand.

TV Guide reports that three new actors have been added to the series.

The first actor should be familiar with alien invasion sagas.   Actor Nicholas Lea, best known as Agent Spender on “The X-Files” will play Erica’s ex-husband for a two-part arc.

UK actor Charles Mesure, who played Archangel Michael on “Xena, Warrior Princess” and J.D. Pollack on Crossing Jordan, will be recurring as mercenary Kyle Hobbes. Kyle is an in-demand black ops expert who forms an unlikely alliance with the resistance when he’s hired by Erica, Ryan, Jack and Georgie to strengthen their fight against the Vs.

Canadian actress Lexa Doig, known for her roles in “Andromeda”, “The 4400” and “Stargate SG-1”, has been cast as Dr. Leah Pearlman. Dr. Pearlman is an OB/GYN treating Valerie Stevens, who discovered she was pregnant in November’s cliffhanger.

“V” returns on March 30.

Nick Lea played Alex Krychek on X-Files. I’m glad to see him back on my TV, though. And yay for Lexa Doig, too. 🙂

Cool to see Nick Lea and Lexa Doig again.

I’m a big fan of Lexa Doig ever since she was in the Tekwar TV-Movies.

Nick Lee, sweet! I was really disapointed when they killed him off in “The X-Files” I think he would have made a great villin for the movie.
