Hogan Guest Stars on “Warehouse 13”

Hogan Guest Stars on “Warehouse 13”

September 15, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

hogan_warehouse13As SyFy’s summer hit series “Warehouse 13” wraps up its first season in the coming weeks, the calvcade of guest stars from other hit SyFy series continues.  This week, it’s actor Michael Hogan stepping into a guest starring role for the penultimate episode of the season.  Hogan played Col. Saul Tight on “Battlestar Galactica” and was interviewed on Slice of SciFi several weeks ago.

When asked why he jumped at the chance to guest star on the series, Hogan said he had three reasons.

“It’s always fun when people call you out of the blue and ask me and my wife [Susan Hogan] to play husband and wife. So that was, of course, an intriguing thing,” he told SciFi Wire. ” “I’m not sure if I’d seen the Warehouse 13 pilot yet when this came up, but I was intrigued by the idea and it was a show that brought me back into the Syfy family. So it was a no-brainer. “And playing the parents of Joanne [Kelly] was fabulous. We hit it off right away.”

Hogan will play the father of Kelly’s character Myka on tonight’s episode.

Hogan said that part of his role was spent awake and screaming in pain, unconscious and writhing spasmodically, or some combination thereof.

“They would say, ‘OK, those who are not in this immediate shot can go, and we’re gonna watch Hogan progressively writhe,” Hogan said. “Acting-wise, the director would just say, ‘OK, a little bit more,’ or, ‘OK, no, no, no, not so much,’ or, ‘Now, really go.’ It was a lot of fun. There was no forgetting my lines.”

You can catch the episode tonight at 9 p.m. EST on SyFy.
