Paquin & Moyer — Real Life True Loves

Paquin & Moyer — Real Life True Loves

August 6, 2009 By Sam Sloan 2 Comments

Until “True Blood” actress Anna Paquin, age 27, refused to do serious love scenes or even nudity, but with the HBO hit vampire series she not only has some very steamy love scenes with co-star Stephen Moyer (age 39), but also some pretty graphic nudity as well. The reason she became willing? Her and Moyer are real-life lovers who will soon be tying the matrimonial knot.

According to People.com Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have confirmed they are officially engaged to be married.

“Obviously, if you’re already with that person then you’re not having to sort of get over the ‘Wow, I’m naked with someone that I don’t even know the middle name of!'” stated Paquin. Moyer countered with — “My girl is hardcore.”

A marriage date has yet to be announced by the couple.

Paquin stars as the title character, Sookie Stackhouse, in the series based on the The Southern Vampire Mysteries set of novels by author Charlaine Harris. Moyer stars as Bill Campbell, Sookie’s 135 year old vampire lover.

“True Blood” airs every Sunday night with new episodes on HBO. Currently in its second season, the cable network has already given the show a thumbs-up for a third.

Ugh – “true” hollywood love story does not bode well for longevity of this series.
