Fox Schedules All of “Dollhouse”

March 30, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 7 Comments

Good news, “Dollhouse” fans!
No, the show hasn’t been renewed for next season.  We won’t know that for several more weeks yet.  And yes, the ratings have been picking up a bit so that is a good sign.
The good news is that Fox has announced the air schedule for the second half of the first season.  And according to a report at Dollverse, the show will get its full run of 13 episodes.  New episodes will air on April 3, 10, 24 and May 1, 8 and 15.  There will be a scheduled pre-emption for the return of “Prison Break” on April 17th, but at least we’ll get to see the entire season.  And it looks like they should air in the order creator Joss Whedon intended.

So, keep watching and maybe we’ll get that second season….

*fingers crossed* I’m hoping they stay as good as these last two have been. 🙂 (Damn F*x execs screwing with the show….)

I know! I know! “Just Blame FOX!” All will be well.

Really, do we genre fans have to be such whiners all of the time? If the show doesn’t perform well enough, it just won’t last. It’s a business decision, not a creative one.

Your right, Trekscribbler! I mean, I bought this peice of crap car the other day and let me tell you, it sucks!

First, the front windshield was not transparent. Some idiot at the car company had painted it so you couldn’t see out. I just drove with my head out the window though…

Then, whenever I hit the gas the car would start making a weird noise and smoke would come from the engine. That sucked (and stunk too), but I would live…

What? You mean the auto shop had removed all the oil from the engine and painted my front windshield? So what, it’s obviously the stupid car manufacturer to blame. I’m not gonna whine to the auto shop because they didn’t do their job correctly! I’m gonna stop buying cars from that car company. It’s just a business decision, and that car didn’t perform well enough.

Blaming the shows for sucking when the STUDIO changes the show and then saying it’s not the studio’s fault is just ridiculous. FOX has been known to (apparently) intentionally kill genre shows.

It took about 3 weeks to get started but the show is really cooking now. I guess they needed to show the operation of the “well oiled machine” the the Dollhouse is supposed to be. But now things are getting a little dicey, just the way I like it.

I was very surprised when I found out what color the 3rd flower in the vase was.

Never suspected her if being a doll

of course you blame fox. get a great show, great writing, good actors, ect. put it on in prime time for a few weeks. then change it around in the schedule, move the days around, cancel it before it even gets a start. who else are going to blame?

    @ ALibertarian
I did suspect her being a Doll, but only in an ironic-semi-cynical kinda way, like, “Oh watch, now SHE’LL turn out to be a doll.”

In this show, you kind of have to suspect that everyone is a “doll” … and that anything a “doll” says might be a lie.
