The fifth season of “Lost” is coming sooner rather than later according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Season five will kick-off on Wednesday, January 21 at 9 p.m. EST with a two-hour season-premiere episode. The series will then settle into its regular time-slot of Wednesdays at 9 p.m. with the episode on January 28th and run repeat free until the end of the season. ABC has signed ordered 17 episodes for the fifth season.
ABC will make the entire evening of January 21st a “Lost” one. In addition to the season premiere, ABC will air a one-hour recap episode at 8 p.m. EST.
“Lost” is returning to its timeslot from seasons two and three, after moving to Thursday evenings last year.
