Marvel and “Lost” fans unite!

2291header_banner12764381.jpgMarvel Comics and the hit ABC television series have joined forces in a new, breakthrough promotional campaign featuring a number of “Lost” easter eggs sprinkled throughout a wide variety of Marvel’s titles that came out in January 2008. Titles such as “Uncanny X-Men #494, “Incredible Hercules” #113, “Thunderbolts” #118 and “Wolvering: Origins” #21.

These special “Lost” easter eggs are not easy to spot, though, so it’s time for Marvel and “Lost” fans to break out their best scavenger tools and go hunting. If you already have your copies of January’s editions you may have recognized an Oceanic Airlines logo or two in the background, but that’s not all. Be sure to keep a keen eye out for so many more goodies.

“We were able to seamlessly integrate these elements from the “Lost” world into the books in a way that does not take away from the stories but adds some fun and intrigue for both our readers and fans of the show as well,” says Michael Pasciullo, Vice President Merchandising & Communications for Marvel Entertainment.

ABC’s hit show and Marvel Entertainment previously crossed paths when Damon Lindelof, co-creator and executive-producer of “Lost,” wrote stories for the “House of Ideas.” This latest collaboration led up to the fourth season premiere of “Lost” which took place on January 31.
